2009 Stark County Farm Tour

The 2009 tour was held Sunday October 4, 2010 and featured four stops in the northwestern corner of Stark County including a dairy, grain farm, beef farm, and equine and agri-entertainment facility.

Claredale FarmsClaredale Farms
Clardale Farms, Inc. is a fourth generation family owned dairy operation that milks 400 holstein cows three times each day and ships 3,600 gallons of milk to Smith Dairy every day.

 

 

 

Flight Path Farms BeefaloFlight Path Farms
Flight Path Farms is a small-scale family farm located just outside of Canal Fulton where Beefalo roam. The farm is home to Ohio’s only herd of registered Beefalo cattle which are raised to supply health food stores and restaurants with a healthy red meat.

 

 

Slicker Farms StoreSlicker Farms
Slicker Farms began in 1965 as a small adventure between two brothers, and has grown to include more than 4000 acres of crop land and an Ag business that caters to farmers, landscapers, municipalities, golf courses, and homeowners.

 

Nickajack Farms Equine CenterNickajack Farms
Nickajack Farms is a 100-acre, equestrian boarding center and educational farm that offers fun and education for the whole family. The farm is a producing farm open to the public for tours, meetings, events, and entertainment.
