2008 Stark County Farm Tour

The 2008 Stark County Farm Tour featured four stops in northeastern Stark County including a winery, a tree farm, therapeutic riding facility, and an integrated poultry producer.

Maize Valley Corn MazeMaize Valley
Maize Valley is a diverse agricultural and entertainment destination featuring a local foods market, winery, corn maze, and much more, all built around a restored 1800s barn.

 

Moore's Tree FarmMoore’s Tree Farm
This 100 acre farms features “choose & cut” Christmas trees and plants more than 2000 seedlings each year. In addition to the trees, Moore’s Farm also grows over 500 varieties of daylilies and 200 varieties of hosta.

 

Pegasus FarmPegasus Farms
Pegasus Farm is a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) accredited equestrian center that offers children with disabilities the opportunity for physical activity and recreation serving more than 240 participants each week.

 

Park FarmsPark Farms
As a fully integrated poultry producer Park Farms controls every facet in the process of modern, humane poultry production. From closely monitoring the hatching of the chicks in its state of the art Hatchery, management of the modern grow out farms and the processing of the birds through our ultra modern processing facility, care is taken to insure that what the consumer serves to their family is the very best it can be.
